Kazakhstan sees Azerbaijan as a key partner in the Caucasus region, the chairman of the Kazakh Parliament, Ural Mukhamezhdanov, said today in Astana during a meeting with Azerbaijani parliamentarians headed by Oktai Asadov, Trend reports.
According to Mukhamezhdanov, representatives of the Azerbaijani community in Kazakhstan are links in the social and economic development of the country.
The main theme of the meeting in the Kazakh Parliament was the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic-Speaking Countries. The issue of active development of interparliamentary bonds between Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan was discussed. Relations between the ruling parties of the states are developing rapidly.
