The Iranian Naval Forces are holding eight-day military exercises in the country's southern territorial waters. Both ground and air forces are involved in the Velayat-89 war games, as well as anti-missile detachments. The drills started on Wednesday and will be carried out in 6 phases, reports RIA Novosti.
During the second day of the exercises, Iranian-designed drones were launched to patrol the area and determine the position of a mock enemy.
