The Police Chief of the North Caucasus, Sergey Chenchik, reminded Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov that Alexander Khloponin, plenipotentiary presidential envoy to the North Caucasian Federal District, proposed the establishment of a working group for law-enforcers, Yuga.ru reports.
Chenchik reminded him that Kadyrov is to head the group. He added that the participants at the recent meeting in Grozny were very impressed by the republic and expressed their gratitude.
The attendants included police chiefs for public security, crime control and counter-extremism centers. They discussed ways of coping with problems in regions of the federal district.
