European Commission and Armenia sign joint declaration

EU Commissioner for expansion Stefan Fule and Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian signed a joint declaration between the European Commission and the Government of the Republic of Armenia.

The declaration welcomes the progress in the negotiations on the associate membership of Armenia in the EU. It also highlights the importance of further steps by Armenia aimed at creating a free trade zone and implementing reforms in the framework of agreements on associate membership of Armenia in the EU. The document provides financial assistance to Armenia in the implementation of reforms, NEWS.am reports.
