Officials of Kabardino-Balkaria to use public transport

The head of Kabardino-Balkaria, Arsen Kanokov, has decided to temporarily ban the members of the government of the republic and members of the administration of Nalchik from using official cars, in order to expose them to the problems of local public transport.

The ban on car use will be introduced for a week after the May holidays, RIA Novosti reports.

In addition, Kanokov proposed conducting surveys of the population’s opinion in cities and regions to identify key issues that affect local residents.
