Macedonian Foreign Minister Antonio Milososki met on Thursday with UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon in New York. They discussed the long-standing name dispute between Skopje and Athens and the proceedings at the International Court of Justice related to the lawsuit lodged by Macedonia against Greece over its alleged violation of a 1995 interim agreement between the two nations. Milososki said that his country is ready to resume dialogue with Greece to overcome the problem.
Milososki and Ban also discussed Macedonia's application for membership in the UN's Human Rights Council for 2013-2016.
