Unidentified assailants killed a police chief in Dagestan's Sergokalinsky District on Sunday night, RIA Novosti cites the senior assistant of the head of Dagestan's investigation Alhas Amirkhanov as saying.
The incident happened at 23.25 (Moscow time). Nasrul Magomedov was shot from automatic weapons at the yard of his house. He died on the spot.
