Japan is ready to carry on its aid program for Armenia, despite existing economic difficulties, the Japanese foreign minister assured Armenian President Serzh Sarksyan during their meeting, News Armenia reports.
The Japanese FM also thanked Mr Sarksyan for Armenia's support during these hard times. President Sarksyan said that the Armenian people understand the feeling of the Japanese people too well, as they had to face similar disaster in 1988.
Serzh Sarksyan expressed his hope that Japanese-Armenian relations will continue their fruitful development.
