Construction of the first branch of the North Stream Pipeline along the seabed of the Baltic Sea has been completed, Nord Stream AG said, RIA Novosti reports.
Three sections of the branch will be connected in Finland and Sweden in summer 2011. Gas transporting will start from Russia to the European Union in the last quarter of 2011. Construction of a parallel line will be completed in 2012.
