The Foreign Ministry of the Islamic Republic of Iran has issued a statement in connection with the continuing developments in Syria, Trend cites Mehr news agency.
The statement says that the confrontation between the Syrian government and the Israeli people over the past 60 years has played a direct role and influenced the revival of the Arab peoples and the protection of the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples’ rights.
"The vigilance of the Syrian people and state has dealt blows to the insidious policy of the United States and the Zionists," the statement says.
