Russia wants to restore contacts with all constructive political forces in Georgia, said Russian Premier Vladimir Putin at the ceremonial laying of the foundation stone of the Kutaisi Monument of Honor to Fallen Soldiers of WW II, reports RIA Novosti.
After the outbreak of war in South Ossetia in August 2008, diplomatic relations between Georgia and Russia were suspended. "I believe that a new period is starting in Russian-Georgian relations, a good one. We are ready for dialogue with all constructive political forces in Georgia, willing to re-establish an honest partnership with Russia", Putin said.
