Al-Qaeda says it contributed to disorders in North Africa and Middle East

The terrorist organization Al-Qaeda claims it was involved in state coups and anti-government protests in Arab states, RIA Novosti reports, citing the SITE.

The disorders started in Tunisia and spread to Egypt, leading to the resignation of the countries' presidents. Protests in Libya turned into a rebellion against its leader Muammar Gaddafi. Unrest continues in Yemen and Syria.
