A street in the Ingush city of Malgobek in Russia has been named after the National Hero of Azerbaijan, Heydar Aliyev, the State Committee for Diasporas told Trend.
The decision to name the street was made at the Malgobek City Council, initiated by a request of the government of the All-Russian Congress of Azerbaijanis of the North Caucasian Federal District.
When making the decision, the contribution of Heydar Aliyev to strengthening ties between the Russian and Azerbaijani peoples was taken into account.
