Armenia and Germany discussed cooperation prospects in Yerevan on Thursday, as part of consultations between their Foreign Ministries, News Armenia reports.
The sides discussed bilateral trade-economic, culture, consulting on legal issues and activities of international organizations.
They also talked about Armenian-German military formations in Afghanistan as part of the peacekeeping operation. Armenia and Germany discussed cooperation with the EU and Armenian_EU association.
The Armenian side pointed out steps of simplifying the visa regime with the EU.
The German side requested Armenia to present approaches to regional problems.
The sides will hold their next talks in Berlin in 2012.
Armenia was represented by Deputy Foreign Minister Karine Karzin, German - by Ambassador Patricia Flor, Special German Representative for Eastern Europe, Caucasus and Central Asia. German Ambassador to Armenia Hans Johan Smidt and Armenian to Germany Armen Martirosyan were at the meeting.
