A delegation headed by Minister Yaver Jamalov is attending the 10th weapons exhibition IDEF-2011 in Istanbul which started on May 10, 1news.az cites the Ministry of Defense Industry as saying.
The Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense Industry presented 89 products. Azerbaijani weapons are of interest to visitors of the exhibition.
Azerbaijan signed protocols on joint production cannons, mortars, sniper rifles and night vision equipment with Turkish companies.
IDEF is one of the top ten world’s largest exhibitions of weapons and is one of the most significant in Europe.
