Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian has met Muhammad Reza Rauf Shaibani, the Iranian Special Presidential Envoy and Deputy Foreign Minister, Armenia Today reports.
Nalbandian expressed satisfaction with current development of ties between the two states, especially in energy and transport. He discussed the fulfilment of agreements reached between their presidents in March.
They noted the importance of the Armenian-Iranian inter-government commission for strengthening bilateral economic relations. A new session of the commission will be held in Tehran in the near future.
The officials discussed regional and international affairs of mutual interest.
