Azerbaijan will become a full member of the international organization of the Non-Aligned Movement, Trend reports.
Azerbaijan will formally join the organization at the upcoming 16th ministerial meeting of the organization, which will be held from May 25-27 in Bali, the spokesman of the Foreign Ministry, Elkhan Polukhov, said .
Until now Azerbaijan has had observer status in the organization.
The Non-Aligned Movement is an international organization uniting 118 countries on the principles of non-participation in military blocs, particularly in NATO and the Warsaw Pact.
