The ruling political party in Russia ‘United Russia’ has published a project for an ‘All-Russian National Front’ organization on its official web-site. According to the document, the main goal of the Front is to help build a “strong, democratic and sovereign Russia” that “supports small enterprises and has a strong market economy”, to “create a society of free and successful personalities”.
The organizers of the Front invite all public organizations to join them to work out a program together that would be adopted by all ‘United Russia’ candidates participating in future elections.
Russian PM and the leader of the ‘United Russia’, Vladimir Putin, proposed creating the Front on May 6, and the organizing committee was created the next day.
