Azerbaijan has adopted new rules for giving and changing names, Trend reports.
The new rules concern all people with permanent residence in Azerbaijan. Names that may lead to harm to children, that do not meet with a child's gender and are funny are forbidden.
According to the Azerbaijani Family Code, children are named with parents' permission. People are allowed to change their name themselves only from 18.
