The Georgian party has sent an appeal to President Barack Obama, urging him to cease supporting the regime of Mikhail Saakashvili, Georgia Online reports.
In the letter to the American president leaders of the Georgian opposition said that democracy in Georgia is impossible as long as Saakashvilli remains the president.
The letter talks about the importance of relations with the US for Georgia and urges Barack Obama to cease supporting Saakashvili and start supporting the people of Georgia.
The opposition has promised to organize actions of protest against the current regime on May 21.
