The Parliament of Georgia will fully move to the city of Kutaisi. Starting with the next elections it will no longer reside in Tbilisi. A project of respective amendments was presented today in the parliament, Georgia Online reports.
According to amendments introduced in September 2009, parliamentary plenary sessions were supposed to take place only in Kutaisi, while other activities, such as committee hearings will take place in the capital
Construction of a new parliamentary building has already begun in Kutaisi.
