Doku Umarov vows to avenge bin Laden's death

Doku Umarov, the militant leader of the so-called Imarat Caucasus, has vowed to avenge Osama bin Laden's death, Gazeta.ru reports.

According to Umarov, Islamist terrorism will survive even though bin Laden is dead. The statement by Umarov was published on the Caucasus Center website.

Doku Umarov's statement was made after Russian authorities officially announced that he is alive since his body was not among the corpses of the militants killed during a recent special operation.
