The European Union will establish an expert commission on issues of migration, drug trafficking, organized crime, and money laundering in Armenia, said the head of the EU delegation to Armenia, Ambassador Raul de Luzenberger, reports Novosti Armenia.
Raul Luzenberger noted that the EU has already started the implementation of three projects in the sphere of migration, including the cooperation of migration services and public organizations aimed at control over migration. Among the top issues to discuss will be illegal migration, deportation and the readmission of illegal immigrants.
"Nowadays, the EU has eased the issuing of visas and has introduced new proposals on the fight against illegal immigration and the integration of legal immigrants," Luzenberger said.
