Ukraine to use Georgian experience to fight corruption

Ukraine is interested in the Georgian experience in fighting corruption, leader of the Regions’ Party Alexander Yefremov said on Wednesday in a conversation with Georgian Deputy Chairman of Parliament Mikheil Machavariani and the Georgian Ambassador to Ukraine Grigol Katamadze, Georgia Online reports.


The Ukrainian politician said that the law on corruption will come into force on July 1, it will be rather strict, compared with standards of European states.


Ukrainian President Victor Yanokuvych demanded local authorities observer anti-corruption legislature.
Leader of the Front Zmin Party Arseny Yatsenyuk believes that the law will not solve high-scale corruption problems.
