The Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) is a component of Armenian security, Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Arman Kirakosyan said at the conference "CSTO and South Caucasus: Peace and Security prospects in the region", News Armenia reports.
Kirakosyan reminded that Armenia and its CSTO partners proposed initiatives whithin the framework of the OSCE. This includes the European Security Agreement, proposed by Russia.
The CSTO consists of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. it was established in May 1992.
