Georgia introduces visa-free regime for another five countries

Citizens of Albania, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Iraq do not anymore require a visa to Georgia  for the stay  of no more than 350 days. Such unilateral concessions on the part of Georgia are also used by the citizens of 70 other countries around the world, reports Georgia Online.

The reason for this decision include the need to promote tourism and attract investments, and for the four European countries also the fact that they are candidates for EU membership. Moreover, Albania is a member of NATO and Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro received the action plan towards membership in NATO.
