The Kremlin confirmed that Russian President Dmitry Medvedev plans to meet with his U.S. counterpart Barack Obama in the Group of Eight summit in France, which will be held on May 26-27, RIA Novosti reports.
In late April, Medvedev said that he wanted to discuss with the U.S. president a visa problem, and in turn Russia's permanent representative to NATO Dmitry Rogozin said that Medvedev and Obama will discuss the situation in the area of ballistic missile defense at the Group of Eight summit.
