US revises visa policy for Iranian students

US State Department announced it is revising its  visa policy for Iranian students, Svoboda radio reports.

The State Department is now giving students from Iran greater freedom to travel to the United States in a gesture to improve people-to-people ties, Reuters reports.

Iranian students may now seek two-year, multiple-entry US visas. Previously such students were eligible only for three-month, single-entry visas.
