Russia to spend 100 bln rubles on children’s medicine annually

About 100 billion rubles will be spent on modernization of children’s medicine in 2012, Russian Presidential Assistant Arkady Dvorkovich said, RIA Novosti reports.


70 billion rubles have been spent in the last years, he said at a press conference.


Dvorkovich stated at the Federal Council that at least 20% of funds spent on modernization of healthcare must be spent on children’s medicine.


A total of 460 billion rubles were provided for medicine for 2 years. About 142 billion rubles were spent on children’s medicine.
