A delegation of the Armenian Defense Ministry, headed by Alik Merzabekyan, Deputy Defense Minister and head of the material and technical support, is on its way to Minsk where it will take part in the international Exhibition of Arms and Military Machinery “MILEX-2011” on May 24-27, News Armenia reports.
Armenia will present about 20 types of products.
MILEX-2011 was organized by the State Committee for Military Industry of Belarus and the National Exhibition Center “Belexpo”.
The CSTO press-secretary Vladimir Zaynetdinov told RIA Novosti earlier that the exhibition was formed for realization of the agreement on advertising and exhibition of military-economic cooperation of the CSTO members and in accordance with the decision of the Inter-State Commission for Military-Economic Cooperation.
The exhibition will include national expositions of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia. They will present advanced weapons and military equipment for forces of the CSTO members, including collective operative forces of the CSTO, formed in 2009.
