Libyan rebel leader visits Turkey

Chairman of the Libyan People’s Council Mustafa Abdul Jalil is on a visit to Turkey, TRT reports.


He will meet President Abdullah Gul, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu.


They will discuss recent events in Libya and the development of cooperation in providing humanitarian support from Turkey.


Erdogan earlier presented a road map for Libya and urged Libyan Leader Muammar Gaddafi to resign.
Turkey sent a technical group to Benghazi, consisting of specialists from the Foreign Ministry and interested organizations.
