The Institute of History under the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan will develop and publish a new “History of Azerbaijan.”
Preparation of the book has already been started, according to the head of the Institute of History, Yagub Mahmudov. The new edition of “History of Azerbaijan” will consist of three volumes, Trend reports.
“Previous editions of “History of Azerbaijan” had some drawbacks. The Yerevan and Derbent khanates weren’t included in Azeri history, and Borchals and South Azerbaijan weren’t studied appropriately,” Mahmudov said.
The four-volume “Genocide of the Azeri People” has already been prepared for publication.
