Today Russia will urge NATO to explain the activities of the Alliance in Libya at the next session of the Russia-NATO Council at ambassadorial level. Libya will be the main topic of the meeting, the regular representative of Russia to NATO, Dmitry Rogozin, stated, ITAR-TASS reports. He believes that at the moment the aim of the Alliance is not protection of the civil population of the country, but the deposition of Muhamar Gaddafi.
On Monday, Great Britain and France stated that they are ready to send military helicopters to Libya in order to launch more accurate attacks on the government forces.
