Georgian Foreign Ministry sees no threat to country’s image after protest crackdown

The Georgian Foreign Ministry says that the crackdown on May 26 will
not have a negative effect on the country’s international image.


Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister Nino Kalandadze said that no one had
doubted the legitimacy of the crackdown, Georgia Online reports.


Foreign reports say that the police were too harsh and pressurized
journalists. Kalandadze expressed confidence that the investigation
