Russian President Dmitry Medvedev said good-bye to the deceased head of Abkhazia, Sergei Bagapsh. Several hundred people came to honor the memory of the president of Abkhazia, who died in Moscow on 29 May at 62 after a complex operation on his lungs.
A memorial service was held at the Cultural Center of the Armed Forces of Russia, RIA Novosti reports.The ceremony was attended by the Ambassador of South Ossetia to Moscow, Dmitry Medoyev, Prime Minister of South Ossetia Vadim Brovtsev and many Russian politicians. The prime minister and the president of Russia sent their condolences to the family of Sergei Bagapsh.
