On June 26, the Day of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan, Baku will host
a military parade, APA reported, citing military sources. The paradewill also be dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the state
independence of Azerbaijan.
The parade will include air show by warplanes and helicopters and
maneuvers by military navy and coast guard ships. For the first time
at the parade will be demonstrated in the military equipment produced
in Azerbaijan such as anti-mine vehicles "Matador" and "Marauder" and
also unmanned devices, 107-mm multiple rocket launchers and other
equipment.
During 20 years of independence, Azerbaijan has organized only 2
military parades: for the first time in October, 1992 and the other on
June 26, 2008.
