Two law enforcement officers were injured in the course of apprehending a suspect in Dagestan, RIA Novosti reported, citing an investigator. "The incident occurred around 15.00 MSK in the village of Telegyun. On Monday, a girl with a gunshot wound in the leg was delivered to the district hospital. During an investigation the police came to the house of the suspect to arrest him. However, he opened fire on the law enforcement agencies," a spokesman said.
The suspect was killed.
