Georgia and Turkey to sign deal on simplification of border crossing

Georgian President Mikkel Saakashvili and Turkish Prime Minister Recep
Tayyip Erdogan will open a renovated customs office in Sarpi. They
will also sign a deal on simplified border crossing for citizens of
both states. Georgians will be able to cross the border by presenting
their IDs.


The Georgian president and the Turkish premier will also have a
closed-door meeting.
