Baku will host a session of the program of the Central Asian Regional
Economic Cooperation (CAREC) on June 6-9, the Azerbaijani Ministry for
Economic Development said on Tuesday, Trend reports.
CAREC members, the World Bank, International Monetary Fund, European
Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Asian Development Bank,
Islamic Development Bank, UN Development Programs will send officials
for the meeting.
The 14 session of the coordination council for trade policy of the
CAREC program and other seminars will also be hosted.
CAREC is a partnership of Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, China, Kazakhstan,
Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan and international
organizations, such as the World Bank, International Monetary Fund,
European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Asian Development
Bank, Islamic Development Bank, UN Development Programs.
