The foreign ministers of Russia and Turkey, Ahmet Davutoglu and Sergey
Lavrov, signed an agreement lifting the visa regime between the two
countries, TV channel Russia 24 reports.
Turkish Premier Recep tayyip Erdogan said that he discussed this issue
with Russian Premier Vladimir Putin during his visit to Moscow in
November .
Turkey has already lifted visa regimes with various Arabic countries –
Libya, Syria, Iraq and Lebanon. Turkey and Saudi Arabia currently have
a simplified visa regime.
