Vanuatu has recognized Abkhazia as a sovereign state, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Abkhazia Maksim Gvindzhiya told Russia Today.
"We managed to secure recognition of our independence by Vanuatu. We are very pleased with this achievement," Gvidzhiya said.
