The Iranian Foreign Ministry has dismissed remarks by the German government that Iran did not allow the German chancellor's plane to enter the country's airspace, Iranian news agency Press TV reports.
“The permission required for the passage of the airplane carrying Mrs. Merkel through the airspace of the Islamic Republic of Iran had been issued in time,” the news agency cites Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast as saying on Tuesday.
