Majority candidates from parties taking part in the elections of May
30th will struggle for 25 mandates to Tbilisi's Sakrebulo (the local
government body), Georgia Online reports.
The other 25 members of the capital's municipal assembly will be
elected by a proportional system. The 10 elective bodies that existed
in Tbilisi have been divided into 25 single-mandate majority
districts: 4 deputies will be elected from Sangori, 4 - Nadzaladevi, 4
- Gldani, 3 - Saburtalo, 3 - Isani, 2 - Didube, 2 – Bake, 1 –
Mtatsmind, 1 – Krtsanisi and 1 – Chuchureti majority deputy. The
candidate with the most votes wins.
