Russian President Dmitry Medvedev held a trilateral meeting on Thursday with Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi and US Vice President Joe Biden, RIA Novosti reports.
Medvedev, Berlusconi and Biden discussed the situation in the Middle East and Libya and a Palestinian-Israeli peace settlement and exchanged views on contacts with the new leadership of Egypt.
According to the information published on the official website of the Russian President, during a working lunch the three leaders also discussed the prospects of Russia joining the World Trade Organisation and cooperation between Russia, the United States and NATO on missile defence.
