Yemeni opposition claims the death of President Saleh

Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh was killed, Reuters reported on
Friday with reference to the Yemeni opposition. The agency was unable

to contact representatives of the presidential administration to

clarify the fate of Saleh. It is reported that the telephones at the

presidential palace did not respond, RIA Novosti reported.

Earlier, television channel Al-Arabiya reported that the as a result
of shelling of the presidential palace district the head of state was
slightly injured.

Official confirmation of the death of the President of Yemen Ali
Abdullah Saleh is unavailable.
