Prosecutor-General finds corruption among Interior Ministry employees in North Caucasus



A re-examination by the office of the Prosecutor General of Russia in
the North Caucasus Federal District has uncovered evidence of
corruption in the local staff of the Interior Ministry, the Prosecutor
General's Office said on Friday, RIA Novosti reports.


During the check-up, prosecutors revealed more than 80 cases in which

Interior Ministry employees did not provide "complete information
about their income and assets over the past year." Several people did

not mention their apartments, land plots or car ownership as well as
the residential premises provided by the state, the General
Prosecutor's Office claimed.
