Opposition leader leaves “Georgian party"

One of the leaders of the Georgian opposition, co-chairman of the Georgian party, Levan Gachechiladze, left this political organization because of internal party disputes, Novosti-Georgia reports.

Georgian MP for three terms and businessman Levan Gachechiladze became widely known after he was named as the single candidate from the united opposition in the early presidential elections in Georgia on 5 January 2008 and got there the second place after Mikhail Saakashvili.

Coca Guntsadze, Kakha Mick and Levan Chikvaidze left the “Georgian party” together with Levan Gachechiladze.
