The Governor of the Sverdlovsk region, Alexandr Misharin, took part in opening the consulate general of Azerbaijan in Yekaterinburg. As URA.Ru reports, this diplomatic organization will work not only for inhabitants of the region, but also for those Russians who live in the Urals Federal District and Siberia.
"In this way, Yekaterinburg again becomes a gate into Siberia for the
people of Azerbaijan", Alexandr Misharin said at the opening.
The consulate general is located at 5 Karl Liebknecht Street.
