Iranian president denies rumours of his disagreements with Ali Khamenei

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has denied rumours about his
having disagreements with the Supreme Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the
informal conservative leader, Lenta.ru reports.

Earlier reports noted rising tensions between religious conservatives
and Ahmadinejad, who is behaving more and more independently,
dismissing and appointing ministers without Khamenei's approval.

Some of Ahmadinejad's supporters have ended up in jail, he himself was
on the brink of an impeachment twice.
