The police have started a special operation against militants in the
Elbrus District of Kabardino-Balkaria on Friday morning, RIA Novosti
reports.
A shootout took place in the village of Neytrino. Two police officers
were injured, according to preliminary information.
The police say that there are up to three militants in the area.
